(Beclufiz-20) is a medication used to reduce excess stomach acid. It belongs to a class called potassium-competitive acid blockers (P-CABs), which work by directly inhibiting acid secretion in the stomach. Beclufiz-20 is commonly prescribed for conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and Helicobacter pylori infection (as part of combination therapy). Compared to traditional proton pump inhibitors, vonoprazan offers faster and longer-lasting acid control. It helps relieve symptoms like heartburn, acid regurgitation, and stomach pain, promoting healing of the gastric lining.
